Is this a common fungus with a mould infection or a strange variety of fluffy fungus?
Found under a bird table growing on woodchip
Pretty though, whatever it is. |

| | | Re: Fluffy fungus Spinellus fusiger is a parasitic fungi or if you prefer mould that often infects Mycena caps and is aptly named Bonnet Mould. The infection on your example could well be a Spinellus species of one form or another.
