| | | Re: Little fungi id? My hunch would be Mycena inclinata, but it could equally be M.galericulata, polygramma, or even galopus which occasionally can be found on dead wood.

You have found a Mycena (definitely) galericulata (probably). They are one of a few Mycenas that grow on trees, both living and dead and the best macro identification feature is that the gills are whitish often pink with age and show ridges between the gills (anastomosing).

Next time i want to id a shroom i'll know to take a photo of the gills as well while i have the chance.
