1. Coming up through compost and well-rotted manure - Lepista sordida?


2. In old Oak and Holly woodland - Russula fragilis?


3. Very small and very fragile in wet mossy ground under conifer and willow, is it possibly Macrotyphula filiformis or something gone long past any hope of ID?


4. On dead birch .......very phallic but I'm totally clueless as to what it could be!

Macrotyphula fistulosa var. contorta possibly.

A well deliquesed C. lagopus or similar I suspect

Hi Jenny.

I'd say Lepista nuda for number 1. Probably too brightly coloured for L.sordida.

3 looks like old Coprinus stems to me, I can sort of make out what looks like the deliquesced caps 'dripping' down them.

5 is Laccaria amethystina.

And I'm not going to fall into the trap of trying to put a name to the Russula . but I agree with all the other ID's.
