| | | Re: Fungi for ID / confirmation please 1 looks more like an Armillaria, though it hasnt got a ring, but that'd rule out K.mutabilis along with the lack of stipe patternation
the last one is almost definately C. micaceus
i'm not sure on the others |

| | | Re: Fungi for ID / confirmation please No 1 looks like one of the Hypholoma to me, as the gills are turning purplish grey from the spores.
The Hygrocybe is too far gone for an id ... even in pristine condition it might not have been possible by photo alone.

| | | Re: Fungi for ID / confirmation please No 1. is lacking the two tone cap markings when wet and yours do look wet, so I'd go along with Melanie and think ' Hypholoma'
No 2. I have an I Mac computer and for some stupid reason my 'Safari' browser will not let me see photo 'A', but will let me see 'B' - I wouldn't know what it is anyway.
Calling NICK CANTLE (he has an I Mac) Do you know why Safari will not let me see the photo ?
No 3. I think this is E.recisa, but I have been through my books looking for an identical shot to this where I believe it was given a different name, but I cannot find the shot.
No 4. Most probably Coprinellus micaceus as it is now called.

| | | Re: Fungi for ID / confirmation please Hello,
no. 2 is also Hypholoma fasciculare in my opinion. Not that I could give a objective reason for it, but I'm fairly convinced nevertheless.
best regards,
Andreas

Neil. | Nothing to do with your Mac or Safari, I have a Windows op computer and I couldn't get the first pic of #2 either when clicking on the thumbnail. However once in the Gallery it worked if clicked on there. |

Yes, nice too, but I still can't get the image up, strange that you can and others can't.
Neil.
(although I can by using the Gallery as Melanie suggests)

| | | Re: Fungi for ID / confirmation please Ah I thought you meant see the thumb. I've just tried looking at the picture but it's not a valid link so it's nothing to worry about your end!
