Rhodotus palmatus?

Found these on Friday out walking in a very soggy Hampshire and have been trying all weekend to ID them.






Spore print was creamish pale pink bit like a blewitt, growing on the end of a big rotten log. No ring on stipe.

Only thing I can find that might fit is Rhodotus palmatus, but they were pretty waterlogged so might be atypical of whatever they are. Log was too old for me to have a guess at tree species.

Can anyone help please?

I think you are spot on. I do not know of any other fungus that looks like Rhodotus palmatus

They certainly look like Rhodotus palmatus, they favour Elm but since it's decline they can sometimes be found on Willow (i've only seen them once on willow).
