| | | creolophus cirrhatus? Probably setting myself up for a fall again but here goes anyway,
Is this creolophus cirrhatus?
It was found on a deciduous trunk in the New Forest, it covered an area of about 25cms wide and 10-15 high, the fruit bodies were bracket like with no stem and ' teeth ' growing out of them.
Philips describes it as Rare which is another reason i end up doubting it is
Thanks |

But if you found this recently, it is Hericium cirrhatum and is probably a Biodiversity Action Plan (BAP) species.
