| | | Re: Household mould An air tight box is not going to prevent your food going rotten if the fungal spores are already on your food, as you are creating a nice little incubation chamber for the mould fungus to flourish.
Sometimes moulds are used to enhance the flavour of food, but not in this case, so chuck it.

or more likely Rhiopus sp, as Pilobolus is mainly found on animal dung,
