I understand that certain HTML code words are prohibited automatically (in thread titles), by WAB's software, to prevent any possible/attempted tampering with the site.

I think that "print" is one of those words, and when it occurs in the title of a thread, has the noted effect. (Although I don't now understand why it appears to have been accepted in this spore print 3 thread ).

Jordan has a plate in his book for colour indentification reference; some of which relate to spore colours. Entries in Fungi of Switzerland have a graduated colour bar printed along side for spore colour identification, and also a spore colour chart which serves as an entrance key for the subsequent subsidary keys.

i've only just noticed nearly all my mushroom books tell me spore colours........thanx guys....mack
