unidentified growing on pine cone - please help
Could anyone please identify fungus growing on pine cone. The stem was offset and the cap (approx. 6mm) was dark brown and hairy with the underside covered in spines rather than gills as shown in the attached photo.

Looks like Earpick Fungus - Auriscalpium vulgare.
