| | Boletus under Pine ID Please Hi all
While collecting Bay boletes today, found these as well.
To me they look very much like mature Boletus Edulis.
Found growing under Pine with the odd birch, poking out through long grass. Very heavy and solid, and no staining on cutting/handling, smelling pleasantly mushroomy. Caps are quite slimy (as wet) and the deer have had a good munch at them too the white edge to the caps was more evident in the field. A white honeycomb structure is visible towards the top of the stem.
Any help in confirming an ID would be appreciated.
Thanks

I agree with your guess! Had 6 of them yesterday, too. ;-)
