| | | Slugs eating fungi. I hope I'm not pushing the edibility issue at all as this question is simply aimed at wildlife but if a slug ,as mentioned in other posts, ate a poisonous fungi would this in turn make the slug poisonous to other animals thus make it a very effective deterrent against being eaten itself? |

Hi there , that's a very good question and one I've always thought about myself as it is entirely logical, but I've yet to see a written answer.
So come on people, this must have been researched, but I don't know where to find the conclusions.
Anyone really know ?
