I apologise if this written somewhere clearly that I've failed to read.
What are the rules about editing one's contributions? Who is able to do it, how is it done, and is it compulsory to indicate that the posting has been edited?
I've seen edited postings, but never found a button that says "edit this". |

As far as I'm aware you can edit a post but only for a certain time afterwards (not sure how long - 15 minutes?) You can do this by clicking on the 'edit' button that is on your post next to 'quote' (which disappears after the said certain amount of time)
