I thought the same thing. I reckon a Death Cap would be pretty psychotic. Or maybe a Honey Fungus 'cmon then, you starting are you?'.
I think the better term would actually be psilocybin mushrooms, as these are the ones that are illegal: there should be no issues with posts such as 'is this an A. pantherina' or 'is this A. muscaria'? |

The way I'd initially read this was that there should be no requests that have lost touch with reality or of a highly distorted nature. I see now what it meant

If it is psycho-active, then it is psycho-active, it doesn't make a difference about the law or not. What i believe John ment was if you start talking about a mushroom purley for its funny side then your posts are likely to be remove and you may be banned too. I don't think it really matters whether said mushroom is legal or not. |

Neil. | Except that it isn't correct ... the fungi aren't psychotic, i.e. they aren't the ones that are hallucinating, they haven't lost touch with reality. They are merely psycho-active or hallucinogenic.

I didn't realise there was a law stating that people couldn't discuss psycho-active fungi. Why would a forum ban such discussions?
