| | | Blackening waxcap I took these today they were growing on a lawn. I am pretty sure that they have been identified correctly. Unfortunately I was not able to get a good photo of a young fruit body. However there were still some on the lawn and they were yellow. My father picked one of these and it was black within the hour. |

Yes you are correct it is the Blackning waxcap (Hygrocybe conica)
