| | | Re: Is this Beech Jelly disc ? Hello,
yes, correct.
The species fits into the genus Ombrophila by the way, and H.O. Baral doesn't uses the genus Neobulgaria therefore.
best regards,
Andreas

| | | Re: Is this Beech Jelly disc ? Thanks so much Ken ,I can't believe I got it right. The small group looks so different from the larger group. That log pile was a real treasure trove of different Fungi.I also found what I think could be Turkey Tail- Trametes Versicolorand (not very sure)White Coral Fungus- Clavulina cristata. The other one I haven't got a clue ,so I'll leave that to someone clever to ID please.Barbara |

| | | Re: Is this Beech Jelly disc ? You are correct with Turkey Tail, your second is Xylaria hypoxylon, and third, the 'Blushing Bracket' (as long as the pores do not look like gills underneath, in which case it would be Lenzites betulina)

| | | Re: Is this Beech Jelly disc ? Thanks Neil for your help, the Turkey Tail was very easy, even for me .but I still like to check .
The White Coral Fungus was a toss up between that or the Candle Snuff Fungus and it looks like I chose the wrong one,I should have looked closer and taken my book with me.
The third one I didn't know and I won't be able to look any closer without pulling the log pile over.
Thanks also Andreas for your help with the ID's. Barbara |

The 3rd one looks a bit like Daedeliopsis confrogosa.
