Fungi for ID Please

Just to be awkward I would say the Russula looks to be a darker pink variety that has been washed out by the rain rather than the very pale pink/white betularum and the stipe looks to have pink shades which is again wrong for betularum. Unfortunately without the specimen it is going to be impossible to get a positive ID.

The image is really awful so it's not surprising there should be a debate. It's a bit like seeing a car flash by, can you describe it - well maybe the colour
