Friend or Foe??

Hi All,

Picked up a batch of these at Hatfield Forest this afternoon - I am not sure if they are a bolete variant... They grew in a line under a pine tree. The thing that concerns me is that they show no apparent bug/insect/worm damage - I saw some of the same where the cap became convex (like chanterelles) when they got older....

Any idea if they are edible?

boletes have pores instead of gills. i'd probably agree with giuliano for the ID. not sure though
