| | | Very young Panellus? Hi,
There are quite a few of these emerging along a dead branch (possibly hazel) in a hedge. I've been keeping an eye on them for a while but they seem to be very slow growing, after about ten days the biggest are still under 10mm across. There do appear to be gills developing now and with the tiny brown scales on the stipe I thought that they might be emerging Panellus serotinus.
Or is it still too early to say?

I want to try and get shots of the stages of development so it's good to know that they are what I thought they were.
