| | | Garden Foray Buoyed up by yesterdays lovely Blewitts, I did a quick trawl round my garden this morning and snapped anything I could find. I will plough through my Phillips guide and see if I can identify - but all help is much appreciated
mycena acicula?
I think this maybe a Rassula but its growing in the veggie patch with no conifers anywhere around

| | | Re: Garden Foray hello Annie
gill shots would take some of the guesswork out of this exercise . . .
1 and 6 are clearly the same image and, although rather over-exposed, appear to be a Parasola species (one of the older Coprinus genus without a veil)
2 could be Calocybe carnea
5 if on wood could be Mycena galericulata please note these are far from 100% identifications
the last one doesn't look like a Russula (they do all grow in association with trees - but not necessarily with conifers)
best wishes
Chris

| | | Re: Garden Foray Thanks Chris - I will try and do better - gill shots in the rain were a bit difficult but as it has now fared up I will attempt some more | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
