Overall size about 100mm across x 70mm tall.
Can't find anything similar in any of my books, and would welcome any ID suggestions.

this is Clavulina cinerea, parasited by Helminthosporium clavariorum.

well, during the main season I give courses appr. 100 kilometers away from home and so I'm only very sporedically at home. No time for Computer and forum in this time. Last week my season ended, with a very rich Cortinarius course (appr. 60 species, among them appr. 35 Phlegmacium!).
