mere sands wood
we went for a walk round mere sands wood the other day, it's currently heaving with fungi of all shapes and sizes. we saw around 20 different species in a couple of hundred yards

including 3 i think different species of puffball, and the normal type up to about 10 inches across by the rufford hide.

i have written this in the hope that bornwild will pull her finger out and put the pics up .

that and to let you know it's worth a look, for any fungiphiles.
