| | | Sticky Fungi ID please Can anyone help me ID these Fungi please, they were on a fallen rotting Beech branch near Leckford in Hampshire. The caps were covered in a thick clear liquid about the consistency of Golden Syrup the trees were beside a cinder farm track and there were several fallen branches but only this one had this type of fungi on it.

Your images are of Oudemansiella Mucida -Porcelain Fungus, great fungi aren't they  . |

| | | Re: Sticky Fungi ID please Thanks Goosey. yes they were very distinctive the pics don’t really do them justice, would have liked to spend a little more time over them and used a tripod but was out with my Wife(the tripod is banned on walks together) and Mother while in Winchester for my Daughters Graduation so lingering was not allowed.
