Ascocoryne cylichnium ID confirmation requested.

I think this is ascocoryne cylichnium but I'm not certain. Can anyone offer confirmation please? The fruiting bodies were smaller than they appear on the photos averaging about 3cm across.

This looks like Auricularia auricula-judae (Jew's Ear) to me. Loads of it near me. Edible as well for those interested. Not sure if Ascocoryne cylichnium is the same as I can't find it in my books.

Ah thanks, having compared the two species on Google images now, those I've seen of Auricularia auricula-judae Jew's Ear look much closer to it. Just goes to show though how easy it is to make a mistake if you're not an expert though, Ascocoryne cylichnium is toxic apparantly. Thanks again both
