Five grassland fungi for identification

The following fungi were all found with a few yards of each other on grazed moorland.

1. A bit passsed it's best.



2. Hundreds of these in small groups, no apparant odour.



3. Possibly Hygrocybe punicea



4. Very faint smell of honey, could this be Hygrocybe reidii?



5. Lots of these very small fungi growing in a very small area.

I concur on number 1... it's a bit past its best.

Number 2 is an Entoloma, most likely Entoloma conferendum.

Number 3 doesn't seem to have the fibrillose stem characteristic of Hygrocybe punicea so I would say it is H. coccinea.

I pass on number 4. The honey smell could indicate H. reidii but I can't get any firm feeling from the photo.

Number 5 is probably a Galerina... which I generally leave in the field for someone else to look at because I'm too lazy to spend time keying these out to species.
