| | | Washed out Amanita? and "TicTacs" for Id please Can you confirm that this is a washed out Amanita Muscaria please. Found in grass just outside the canopy of a Birch.
These were found growing on what I think is a dead Beech log, woodland is mainly beech and birch. Smaller than a TicTac but similar in shape. It would appear that they are splitting into two in some instances.
Many thanks, JohnB

Many thanks, JohnB | Hi John
Yes it is a washed out Amanita Muscaria and your TicTacs are probably insect eggs.

Thanks John
The "TicTacs" were taken at Anton Stones so I will have to pop in on the way home and keep an eye on these

| | | Update on "TicTacs" My little peppermint tictacs have become orange tictacs
Taken this afternoon - a bit of a change. These are about 1-2mm across which I didn't mention before.

| | | Re: Washed out Amanita? and "TicTacs" for Id please Quick visit today and the original fungi seem to have disappeared but these are on the same fallen trunk close to the original ones.
