In case people haven't noticed, there have been some very important changes to the Fungal Records Database of Britain & Ireland. (FRDBI)
Give it a try and see what you think.

Oh, maybe this is where it has changed. Fungal Records Database of the British Isles
Are the different ways of searching the database new? Certainly useful.

Well reading the BMS web site there is supposed to be more information freely available on individual species as contributors have signed an agreement waiving copyright on the records they contribute.
I signed a form to this effect back in 2003, but I'm a lost cause when it comes to gleaning info from the web as a lot is just too high tec for me.

Backs up what i learnt about the list this weekend. Very good site, the distribution map info is fantastic. Thanks for the heads up and links folks I will be checking through every record i've ever made.

for me the most noticeable thing is how much faster it is to access

I would agree with that Chris. It might have been the update procedure but I was finding it slower and slower but not anymore.
