Large fungi for id please

Wonder if anyone cane identify this fungi I found today. They were in deciduous woodland, mainly oak, in west Berkshire. Stood about 6 inches tall an had a diameter of 8+ inches. There were a group of 7 altogether.

The overall sizes you mention, the caps, habitat, and trouping nature seem to point to Trooping Funnel - Clitocybe geotropa.

Did you notice if they had "downy bulbous" bases to the stems?

Have just looked back at the photos of it that I discarded and they do show a bulbous base but aren't detailed enough to show if they were downy or not.
