| | | Id confirmations from today please Hello, been out today and i've found a few new ones to add to my list. Confirmations of my id's would be a great help thanks
First up is what i believe to be honey fungus, i have found around 50+ fallen trees all running along a stream in the middle of the woodland i search which were bursting with the stuff all the way down the stream, quite worrying really.
Next up i think is supher tuft
This one im not completely sure about but i belive it may be my first Penny Bun
Lastly a Amanita Muscaria that was in quite good condition and i couldnt resist squatting down to take a pic
Thanks Trev |

| | | Re: Id confirmations from today please All OK Trev with the exception of the Penny Bun which would have had a white network over the stem instead of the dark coloured flecking; more than likely to be a Leccinum species. |

| | | Re: Id confirmations from today please I did have my doubts about the Penny Bun, my other option was Leccinum duriuscula/scabrum), it was however the swollen stem which pushed me more towards the Penny Bun (and possibly the fact that i really wanted it to be one )
Thanks again
Trev

| | | Re: Id confirmations from today please It is not a Leccinum Scabrum, based on the cup, which is orange and not brown... - The mushroom on the pictue is called Leccinum Versipelle or coudl be also Leccinum aurantiacum. All of them edible and very good quality
Thanks,
