ID help please
These were taken at the base of a fallen tree and are appox 2.5-3cm across, are they puffballs?

Hi John
I think they are Lycoperdon pyriformis. No doubt some smarty pants will tell us what the fungal infection on the puff ball is

These were on the base of the fallen beech from the Sunday at Clumber but I didn't note it down.
