New member needing help

Hi

I'm new to this site & all this fungi lark. Can anyone help identify this? It was taken at the end of September in a small coniferous wood in the Pennines. There were lots of them popping up everywhere. I'd be grateful for any help.

Hi,
looks if it could be False Chanterelle , Hygrophoropsis aurantiaca.Very common in ciniferous woods.

Yep. I'll go with that. They're youg ones v. common. They're considered as a good edibile but I stick to the real ones when I can find them.
