Found in Clumber park today on a beech log, about 1 inch high. Any thoughts?

To me, this looks like a newly emerging Amethyst Deceiver - Laccaria amethystina. - (But then, I've been known to be very very wrong  ).

btw - this was taken in Clumber today. Pity I didn't see your foray earlier, I would have enjoyed a trip round there with you guys.
