Confirmation Golden Scalycap please
Morning all. I found these on an old beech trunk, nearly missed them as they were hidden in a very dark corner. I thought they were yet more honey fungus to begin with but these are really yellow. The colours reproduced really well in the photo. Are they Golden Scalycap - pholiota aurivella ?

looks good to me Teresa; however there has been some confusion in the past over the whole "adiposa / aurivella / cerifera / jahnii" area - checking spore size helps, but I still think you are on fairly safe ground
