Apologies for making a request with my first post.
While out with the dog, I came across this large fan-shaped mushroom growing on a log. It's by the side of a fallow field, just off a bridleway.
I first saw it early this week, but only remembered my camera today! It looks a bit ragged on some edges now, after a couple of days' rain.
