possible Tawny Grisette ID?

The Tawny Grisette Amanita fulva is part of the Amanitopsis group which has a volval bag but no ring (and fulva has a smooth stipe) so it is not this species.
I am not sure but it could be A rubescens with the vellar patches washed off.

there's no umbo (central nipple), the cap edge is not lined, and the stem has a ring.

So no.

Could be A. Pantherina? Not seeing blushing, otherwise I would say Rubescens. Note the veil remnants on the cap - this might have been a much wartier looking fungus at one point (rain?).

The second photo looks to show signs of the remains of the volva on the cap, but the first image contradicts this by having a bulbous base. I've only been recording this species for a few months but every Amanita fulva i've found shows a sack at the base and usually some evidence left on the cap. Are the photos of the same fruit body? Any yellowing on the ring and at the top of the stipe? Did it bruise red at all? I think its a probably from the A. rubescens camp maybe a variant.

oops took too long writing that one, but thats three who agree its not A fulva at least
