So not a bad start to my fungi forays I ve a lot too learn but loving it.
Your middle photo of an upside down fungus taken against a dark background appears to be the 'Shoe Suillus' taken in it's natural habitat which really aids identification.
Sorry, but I'm really straining my eyesight to try to ID your photos, hopefully someone will soon tell you how to upload them to a more workable size.
As Chris said pics are a bit small but the first (assuming it has spines which is not easy to be sure from the photo)looks like Sarcodon rather than Hydnum which would be a great find.
The "Larch Bolete" looks like one of the Scabrum group although most are mycorrhizal with Birch yours looks to have two needle pine nearby.
is a link to my flikr pages where the pics can be viewed better.
I tried to use this site but that is how the images have loaded up onto "my pics" section. Any tips greatly appreciated.
Having gone back and viewed my pics again with a bit more reading I am now certain that my mis named larch bolete is in fact a leccinum scabrum or brown birch bolete.
With looking at some other pics I think that indeed the not sure is a lactarius rufus i have a couple of other pics that helped on flikr.
Mal is quite correct that you have a Sarcodon for your hedgehog, which is an excellent find. Just a shame it won't count for the records without a proper ID. Sarcodon squamosus is the species most commonly found in Britain and is a good possibility if growing with pine, and even that is regarded as rare. But it would have needed a thorough inspection to be sure of the identification.
From the points above if i find this again should i be thinking about contacting someone to have it checked out properly for records or something. It was found in a sandyish part of a predominantley pine wood so from most of the stuff i ve read since would seem to be the habitat of said species.
Any infos good info as I ve just started out with this fungi fun.
