Found during a pre-WAB foray with FungiJohn and BamBam, Vicky. 
There were lots of these small specimen covering the logs from a fallen Beech tree. They seemed to have a string quality, or as Vicky put it, "Like spun sugar on a cooking program".

please note there is a mis-typing in there: the name should be Cytospora - not Cystospora
