I found this one 2 days ago, solitary, in woodland with pine plantation on one side, deciduous upland woodland on the other side, but directly under a holly sapling in mainly pine needle litter.

Cap and stem are viscid. Smell unpleasant, yeasty. Gills mauve-grey with paler edge, but reddish near cap edge. Decurrent, otherwise I'd have wondered about Hygrocybe perplexa. No obvious cheilocystidia. Spores are quite variable in size, hyaline, and appear to be amyloid (the gill squash darkened quite noticebly shortly after applying Melzers and the spores look bluish).

Gill squash, 10x

Spores in Melzers

Basidia 40-50 um long, 5-6.5um dia

Cap scalp squash 10x, showing gelatinised cells

Medallion clamp

Stipipellis.
Spore sizes are 6.6-9.6 (13.2) x (3.4) 3.9-4.9 (5.3) Qav = 1.8
Any ideas what it could be?
