ID please (hello again btw)

Good Afternoon. I believe this could be a Birch Bolete but would like a second opinion.
Found near Birch trees, It has a brown cap with a speckled stipe slightly bulbous at the base.

Another pic showing the pores and base of stipe. further reading and I'm pretty sure this is a Birch Bolete.
Just like confirmation as I'd like to have it for tea tonight.

Hello. Looks like a Leccinum scabrum from the photo, but it is never 100% certain when just looking at a piccy!

Ahh, not exactly the finest cuisine, but fried in butter with a little seasoning, served on toast, it was very tasty indeed.
Free food is the best food it seems
