| |  strimmer nightmare fungus
well, this was nearly strimmered to extinction by me on my own lawn yesterday - didnt see it until nearly too late! 
Is it Ramaria stricta?
Three groups at the edge of a damp lawned area, with wood posts nearby , under oak.
First one after the machete effect, then two not too bad, in different lightiing........   
then I thought you might like to see my moulds from the greenhouse on collected rotting plum/greengages!

Not Ramaria stricta but Grey Coral - Clavulina cinerea
I'd close the greenhouse door if I was you

damn!
I had it as a clavulina spp, prob cinerea, but talked myself out of it, hey ho.
Nevertheless, its another first for me and many thanks for ID - I'll watch it grow back and try for a better Gallery pic if it does.
Greenhouse door duly closed.
