Is This Helvella Crispa?
Found today, I think this is White Saddle - Helvella crispa, as it is distinctly different to the H.lacunosa that I recently found.

The thing that concerns me is that it is distinctly grey, , and not as white as the photos in my various fungi books would appear to suggest it should be.

Size was about 8cm tall, found growing in soil, under Beech 0- I]Fagus[/i].



Any ID confirmation/other much appreciated.

Oh well, my species count remains the same, but at least I now have two sites for H.lacunosa.
