Got another
Tricholoma (I think) I'm not sure about. Again growing under Beech on Limestone at Malham Tarn.
Cap: up to 600mm
Pileipellis made up of thin hyphae some encrusted and with a layer of much wider cells below.

Spores: 5.5 - 6.5µ x 3.5 - 4.5µ Q 1.5 - 1.7
Cystidia: none, a few marginal hyphae with sinuous ends
Smell: faint fungusy??
Taste: mild
Change of colour: not changing in stipe on bruising after 24hours??
Wasn't sure about the smell, taste and haven't seen any colour change on bruising after waiting for 24hours or so. Got myself stuck at somewhere round about
Tricholoma atrosquamosum in Fungi of Switzerland and
T.squarrulosum in Fungi Nordica. Both being vars of
Tricholoma atrosquamosum in Basidiomycota Checklist. Fungi Nordica suggests
T. squarrulosum favours beech which fits, but Basidiomycota Checklist suggests var
squarrulosum is more associated with conifers and has var
atrosquamosum under Beech and as a RDL species. This has raised a bit of doubt especially as I'm never too sure of smell and taste which I find quite subjective unless you've come across lots of them. So I suspect there may be other similar species and I've got lost somewhere following the keys.
As usual your thoughts, ideas and suggestion would be much appreciated.
