Hi,
I'm new to the forum and to fungi in general, so please be gentle! I've found two types of fungi in my local wood (mixed deciduous - mostly beech and oak) that I can't find in my books. Pictures are attached.
Of course, it might be that my books aren't much cop, or that I'm not looking hard enough! Anyway, if anyone could identify them for me then that would be great.

...I can't tell you exactly where they were growing since I always find them uprooted and scattered about. I guess rabbits or squirrels are interested in them. However, they seem to be *usually* near oak trees.
The ones I have found range in diameter from approximately 50mm to 80mm.
Any suggestions appreciated!
Rob
