took a little stroll and decided to target fallen wood for a change. i have attempted the first but the second & third are a bit tough for me so its vague stabs at i'ds.

found on a fallen
Acer of some type. fruit bodies up to 5cm tall, bulbous, hard to the touch and black in colour white showing in some places where broken.
Xylaria polymorpha "Dead mans fingers"
growing on the same tree a trunk over

Polypore???? due to the shots underneath could be
Polyporus varius the evidence of some kind of stem helps, pores starting white/cream the going brown with age, bright orange hard cap brown then blackening with age.

growing all around a hazell oops
Corylus on the fallen coppice wands.(not the most in-focus shots sorry) cap up to 1cm across very deep furrows not unlike a parachute(to quote most authors) and white in colour, stems long and black at the base browning as the get near the cap, sorry i now realise how important a shot underneath is where the cap joins the stem. I'm certain it is a
Marasmius possibly
rotula
Any advise appreciated as always folks
