Growing from stump & buried wood mainly Larch.

Growing from a fallen trunk in a mainly Larch wood. (I note that
T.foliacea) is stated to be associated mainly with deciduous wood, but occasionally appearing on conifer).

Hundreds of these growing from Larch needle litter.
Stipes mainly about 30-40mm tall, caps generally between 10-20mm wide.

Originally thought possibly a young Snakeskin Brownie -
Hypholoma marginatum, but the cap seems to be too red. The Cap margin/rim was very inrolled, giving very little view of the gills. (No pic. unfortunately).
Growing directly from a fallen branch (probably Larch). Stipe height about 50mm, cap width about 15mm.
Any ID's, confirmations/other, much appreciated.
