| | | Northumbrian no-name This one has me beaten. I don't recall seeing it before and am struggling to ID it from my resources.
It was one of four growing independantly on a dead elm trunk over a burn in Northumberland last week.
Any help with ID would be appreciated. |

| | | Re: Northumbrian no-name Well it's certainly Polyporus. Looks quite 'weathered' and washed out. Part of me wants to suggest Polyporus leptocephalus, but another part of me thinks it's probably not.
No, I will stand by my suggestion of Polyporus leptocephalus, just not a typical specimen. |
