| | | Help with ID please. Found these today, near larch, birch and beech. Gills are slightly lilac in younger specimins, turning rusty brown with age. Any help is most welcome.

EDIT; Perhaps Cortinarius livido-ochraceus is more fitting. Andreas' description below fits' Quote: |
yes elatior is common. I think it is better called Cortinarius livido-ochraceus nowadays. The striate stipe apex is specific and the cap is bgetting more and more wrinkled with age. It usually is a quite robust and sometimes big species, whereas C. stillatitius is slender. This stillatitius is growing only in coniferous forests, livido-ochraceus also in decidous ones. And stillatitius smells like honey in the stipe base some time after picking - livido-ochraceus does not.
