| | | Life Cycle and seasons So last week I found a god sized Boletus Edulis, just on the edge of pickability. 300g
Today I returned to the locale and found nothing but lots of R. Ochreleuca (are these worth eating if you get maggot free?). So I took a different path and came across half a dozen large B.Edulis wilting back to the earth.
So My question is, can I expect further fruiting over the next few weeks in the same area? Or have I missed the boat? |

| | | Re: Life Cycle and seasons I would revisit. Often fungi come in 'waves'- they tend to show throughout a certain period. I'd give it until mid-September until the B. edulis start thinning out. |
