I have taken photos of fungi before but not bothered much with Id, this however was very noticable and I'm sure it wasnt there yesterday! I have had a look at the Gallery, but there are nearly 400 images and I dont know where to start from. GRowing in an open area near chestnut & London planes. |

this is the Giant Polypore, Meripilus giganteus.
Seems to have a lot of them out there in the moment.
