Cauliflower fungus

Found our first Cauliflower fungus today. Seen one on an identification walk previously but this is our first wild find.

I ate one some years ago, but like most wild fungi it was hardly worth the faff of preparing and cooking it!

Just be carefull Nick. That was a coment passed about me when I said a lot of wild fungi are not worth the bother and I ran a hotel for 25 years
