Brown bolete ID

I collected four specimens:



Stems and caps have become separated due to the 2.4kg puffball sitting on top of them

Caps 4cm, stems 6-8cm, cap dark brown, pores yellowish-white, flesh pale brown, no colour changes from cutting.

Hello,

all are Xerocomus badius - Bay Bolete.
Young fruitbodies doen't blue at all, especially those growing in dry habitats.

Thanks, I was confused by the brown flesh, which I couldn't find a reference for, but I cut the other three open, two were 'normal', and the third had a darker brown at the top of the cap - but caused by maggots.
